Contributions to TSPF may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless otherwise stated. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your gift.</p><p>Donations are processed by a third-party payment service, and your use of that service is subject to its own terms and privacy policy. You represent that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method. <p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);"><strong style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">Proceeds from the 16th Annual Pub Crawlin’ for Tots become care for DC kids and year-round “small acts” across the District</strong></span></p><p><span style="color: var(--color-text-accent-primary); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text-accent-primary);"><strong style="color: var(--color-text-accent-primary); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text-accent-primary);">WASHINGTON, D.C. — </strong></span><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">More than 100 Washingtonians in Santa hats and holiday sweaters crawled from JR.’s on 17th Street to Pitchers in Adams Morgan. <strong>That night out has now become a $5,000 gift to Children’s National Hospital.</strong></span></p><p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">The Tarik S. Pierce Foundation, the DC LGBTQ+ community nonprofit behind the annual Pub Crawlin’ for Tots, is donating $5,000 to Children’s National, ranked among the nation’s top 10 pediatric hospitals.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">“Pub Crawlin’ for Tots started sixteen years ago when a group of friends came together to celebrate a friend’s birthday and kick off the holiday season,” said Camille Lanaia, Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. “What began as a fun day with friends has grown into a cherished tradition of giving back. This gift represents our community’s joy turned into care for DC kids and families proving that a simple celebration can grow into something with lasting impact.”</span><br><br></p><p><span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text);">The Foundation is named for Tarik S. Pierce, whose life was defined by connection and generosity. <p><strong>Washington, DC</strong> — Tarik's life was defined by connection and generosity, more than 100 members of the DC community proved that spirit is alive and thriving.</p><p>The Tarik S. Pierce Foundation's 16th annual Pub Crawlin' for Tots brought out supporters in full force, with over 110 tickets sold and a packed crowd turning a beloved DC tradition into nearly <strong>$8,000 raised</strong> for local community programs.</p><p>Since its founding, Pub Crawlin' for Tots has been more than a fundraiser. It's a celebration of what happens when people come together with purpose. What started as a way to honor Tarik's memory has grown into one of DC's most enduring community fundraising events, returning year after year because the people behind it believe joy and generosity belong together.</p><p>Every dollar raised goes directly toward uplifting our local community. The TSP Foundation is committed to bridging the gap between social connection and social good, meeting people where they are and channeling that energy into programs that make a tangible difference.</p><p>None of this would be possible without our incredible DC LGBTQ+ community and allies, who continue to show up, give generously, and remind us why this work matters.
